We place great importance on data security and integrity, and we have implemented a reliable backup system to ensure the availability, consistency, and recoverability of user data.

1. Backup Scope

Backups are performed daily and weekly and include the entire database, which contains:

  • XML submissions and related files

  • Product recipes and compositions

  • Notifications, user profiles, settings, and account data

  • Operation logs and metadata
All data is stored exclusively within the database; there are no external file systems involved.

2. Frequency and Retention

Daily backups are retained for 7 calendar days

Weekly backups are retained for 4 weeks

Data is automatically rotated: old backups are deleted and replaced by new ones after the retention period expires.

3. Storage Location and Infrastructure

All backups are hosted on Digital Ocean servers, physically located in the Netherlands (European Union territory).

No data leaves the EU, and storage complies with general EU data residency requirements.

4. Encryption and Security

All server access and data transfers are protected via SSL protocol.

Backup access is strictly limited to authorized personnel.

Only the CTO of TPD PRO has access to backups.

5. Recovery and Testing

The Recovery Time Objective (RTO) does not exceed 4 hours.

Backup recovery is tested monthly, including either full or partial restore to a test environment.

The system is monitored daily to verify that backups are successfully created and operational.

6. Responsibility

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of TPD PRO is fully responsible for implementing and enforcing this policy.

7. Disaster Recovery

Currently, there is no formal disaster recovery procedure for full data center failure. However, such procedures are planned for development in the upcoming product cycle.
